Rental Rules:

GREEN ACRES COUNTRY CLUB
RENTAL POLICY AND PROVISIONS


1.    Party requests must be received in the Office prior to the Board Meeting preceding the requested date.  (The Board meets on the second Monday of each month.)  The Board will consider only those requests which are within ninety (90) days of the date of the Board meeting. 

2.    Rental Fees are assessed on functions which utilize the Clubhouse, and on functions utilizing the Pool, and Grounds, which are attended by fifteen (15) or more guests, including Members and Non-Members. The host of each party must provide a list of all guests to the Office, prior to the party.   All parties, whether held in the Clubhouse, Pool or Grounds will be for 3 hours only.

3.    Rental Fees, Damage Deposits, and costs of ordered refreshments must be paid at the time the Party Request is made.  Guest Fees are payable on every guest who enters Green Acres Country Club at the conclusion of the party. 

4.    Member party rentals are for 3 hours.  The member will be allowed in up to 2 hours early for setup and must leave the property no later than 1 hour after the end of the party.  Additional time for setup must be approved by the Board of Directors at the time the party request is submitted for approval.  An additional fee may be levied by the Board for party requests that are for more than 3 hours.

5.    Non-Member party rentals are for 3 hours with a fee of $50.00 per hour for each additional hour.  All persons renting the Clubhouse will be allowed in up to 2 hours early for setup and must leave the property no later than 1 hour after the end of the party.  Additional time for setup must be approved by the Board of Directors at the time the party request is submitted for approval.

6.    Any member requesting a rental for a function given or sponsored by a non-member, must be present for the duration of the function and must open and secure the facility at the beginning and conclusion of the function.  Failure to do so will result in the loss of the damage deposit.

7.    Cancellation of reservations within thirty (30) days or less of the reserved date may result in the forfeiture of one-half of the Rental or Facility Fee.

8.    Damage Deposits will be returned immediately following certification by Green Acres management of the lack of damage to the property.

9.    Children under eighteen (18) years of age are not allowed in the Adult Room (Clubhouse).  The Board will consider allowing Members to reserve the Adult Room for a function for his/her minor child only if the member parent agrees to be present for the duration of the function and agrees to provide adequate supervision.

10.    Alcoholic beverages shall not be served or made available to persons under the age of twenty-one (21).

11.    No glass containers or other glassware may be brought onto the Club grounds.

12.    All decorations must be free standing.  No decorations or other items may be attached in any way to walls, windows, doors, etc.  Doing so will result in the loss or partial loss of the damage deposit.

13.    Members renting the facility are responsible for properly disposing of all food, paper, plastic, and other disposable items.  All non-disposable cooking and/or serving utensils shall be removed from the facility at the conclusion of the function.  The facility shall be left in a clean and orderly manner and the building shall be locked and alarmed at the conclusion of the function.  Trash cans in the Clubhouse and Sunroom must be emptied and the secured garbage bags brought outside the Sunroom door.  Not doing so will result in the loss or partial loss of the damage deposit.  Non-Members will be required to pay an additional $45 fee (in a separate check made payable to “Cash”) for the opening and closing of the club.

14.    Clubhouse (main room and sunroom) are non-smoking facilities.  Smoking is allowed in outdoor areas only but not on tennis courts or pool deck.

15.      There will be a $150 non-refundable deposit when boiled seafood is served at any function.
