Objective: Obtain proper guidelines for members regarding guests accessing GACC premises and the fees due by the member for each guest.

1. Definitions

• Pool Hours – pool times that are open to members (staffed by lifeguards under the Board approved times)
• Seasonal – Any time the pool is open to members during “Pool Hours”
• Nonseasonal – Any time the pool is not open to members during “Pool Hours”

2. GACC Guests outlined in this policy are defined as all persons who are not active members in good standing who access GACC premises who do not otherwise fall into the following categories:

• Employee – Any person employed by GACC or is otherwise contracted with GACC to provide professional services(eg. Tennis/Swimming Lessons/Clinics, Fitness Training)
• Contractor/Vendor – Any person hired by GACC to perform or provide services such as repairs or maintenance.
• Any person accessing GACC premises who meets one of the following criteria:
  • Usage/access limited only to the clubhouse during a scheduled clubhouse rental
  • Usage/access under reciprocal agreements with other clubs or leagues
  • Usage/access under specific contracts negotiated with GACC
  • Usage/access under special event circumstances specifically approved by the Board.
• 3. Guests Fees – All persons outlined in section 2 who do not fall into one of the categories of exception are to be considered guests. During both seasonal and nonseasonal times, a payment of $10 per guest is due by the member to GACC at the time the guest accesses GACC premises. Payments can be made by PayPal or cash/check(placed in the office mail slot located in the sunroom) and are due when the guest accesses GACC premises. Guest(s) Name(s) must be included when checking in.
  • Members are responsible for ensuring their guest(s) are aware and compliant with all GACC rules.
  • A person is limited to be a guest at GACC to 5 times per calendar year
  • Members are limited to 7 guests per membership per day.
  • Members must accompany their guest(s) during ingress to the club.
  • Guest(s) may not remain on GACC property without the member.
  • Failure to pay guest fees at the time due as outlined above will result in a $20 administrative charge per guest in addition to the $10 guest fee.
