Head Coach Gabby Carter

Gabby has been coaching and teaching swim lessons since 2020. She started teaching at South Louisiana Swim Team and has served as Head Coach at Green Acres for three summers. She loves all aspects of teaching swimming, from the basics to the advanced. A little bit more about Gabby is that she is graduating from LSU in May with a BS in Cognitive Neuroscience Psychology and minors in Spanish and Biology. During her time in college, she was involved in leadership, serving on the Panhellenic Exec and as Chapter President of her sorority.

Head Coach Alex Carter

Alex has been the swim team coach at Green Acres for three summers, and she has been teaching lessons at GACC for four summers. She also taught swim lessons and coached for three years at South Louisiana Swim Team, where she was also a competitive swimmer from ages 9-17. She received training from professional swim coaches and lesson instructors and has over 1500 hours of experience. When she is not coaching, Alex is studying Biochemistry/Pre-Medical at Mississippi State University, where she volunteers once a week with the Special Olympics Swim Team.
