Coach Rob was a former diver with the Metairie YMCA, where he won the Diving Meet of Champions in 1990 and 1991. After he aged out, he started his coaching career at the YMCA from 1992 to 1998.  In 1999, he was hired at Lakeside Country Club, where he built a championship-winning program from scratch. He coached at LCC for 17 years, winning the dual meet championship 9 times, including 7 undefeated seasons and the MOC 6 times.  He has coached over 50 MOC-winning divers in his coaching career, including 4 MOC 

record holders.  He has also been the JCCA Diving director since 2005.  

Every dive practice and dive meet's focus is for the diver to improve and overcome any fears or challenges of learning new dives.  Coach Rob's philosophy is to push each diver to reach their full potential while making sure they learn the correct fundamentals and enjoy the sport.  Besides coaching, he loves supporting his children in their hobbies, watching football, and all other sports. 

Coach Rob is excited to have the opportunity to coach at Green Acres and hopes he can 

continue the success of years past.
